Hi Darrell, I¡¯m trying to understand how the far end of the indeed table affects the cut? If your cut is bad I think I¡¯d look elsewhere? Bill Belanger

Jointer Infeed table going out of alignment on AD941
Hi FOG members! I purchased and setup a new AD941 (jointer/planer) combo back in early 2024. ?I used the Survival guide and other materials from David Best and his guidance to accomplish this and I

Re: Feedback on the sliding saw selection
Since a few people requested a follow-up, I am going to update to this thread. Do let me know if I am abusing the forum... As I mentioned previously, I notified Felder of the damage on the day of

Re: PCS technology on low end slider
I've been waiting for the PCS to make its way downstream since it was first announced. Of course, right once I said "to hell with it" and took the plunge, this happens. Sorry everyone, should have

PCS technology on low end slider
I just saw some clips from Linga ?trade show. it looks like Felder were able to fit the PCS technology to their smaller saws (K700), look nice for people who looks for that technology but don¡¯t

Natanel, Thanks for starting this thread as it seems to be of interest to many of us. ?Hope you don't mind me asking a few questions here about the subject. Has anyone used the ShopFox flavor of

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Bryan, Have a look at this series of videos and photos. It will answer all your questions about the 1100mm short crosscut fence, how it mounts to the slider, and the issues with it.

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Bryan, David Best came up with the T-nut solution. It is much more involved than a fancy T-nut. The T-nut besides having the setscrews (to make it co planer with slider surface), also has a precision

Re: Powermatic 1632
Thanks David. Yes by standard I meant not an open sided design. Sounds like useable for rough work but the ROS still needed for refinement. In a previous shop I owned a Speedsander and was not pleased

Re: Powermatic 1632
Thanks, will check the Centek. From reading the spec, there isn¡¯t any obvious difference between the S and the C besides the higher air compressor requirements (7 vs 2 cfm) ?and 2 - 4¡± dust ports
Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Thanks, I'll do that. I appreciate all the input. Is the upgraded T nut situation worked out enough to order from somebody, or is this still a work in progress?

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Bryan, The 1100 mm and the T nut from Felder is where I would start. The T nut on my shaper and saw have excellent repeatable, and once set to 90 degrees there are no issues. The other advantage of

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
You can cut the long xcut fence but as cheap the $1100 extrusion is I personally would buy it and not ruin the long xcut fence that works with the outrigger. Imran Malik IAM Wood Creations

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Thank you. It is becoming more clear now. Can this mounting kit, potentially with the new machined T nut that seems to help with repeatability, be used with my current fence if I cut it down? Or does

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
Bryan, here is a photo of the required T nut, and miter scale that you will require to mount the 1100 mm cross cut fence. My 3700 mm slider has two locations for mounting, I chose to relocate it to

Re: Need Short crosscut bar and extras for K500
In that case, you will need the 1100 mm extrusion and the coupling kit. Check your slider slot and you will find 2 places (maybe 3 on long sliders, not sure) in the slot where there are existing holes
