Little backlash should not be a problem you see a little room for the screw to turn. You¡¯re always adjusting. your final position against the thread or up so little loose would be better than too

The nut is NANA (Not Available in North America). I intend to order one "just in case," but it will take a while to get here.

I have the same fence as you, Jacques. Thanks for the pictures. It looks like you had to space it out even farther. I had some issues with the sheet metal from the table sticking out too far.
