Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
I wouldn't use the Ballistol, a bunch of us tried it when we found out Felder suggested it and I know my results were terrible. Best solution for me is a paper towel with mineral spirits on it and

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
Thanks for the heads up on that Mariusz, I ended up just using a vacuum and rag anyways. And yes, we can get Ballistol here in the States. I got everything cleaned up, but that didn't fully solve the

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
Greg, I’m not positive and I’m not near my machine to check it, but I believe there might be a sticker on the lower part of the sliding table that indicates that compressed air should not be used

Re: Rip fence alignment
Hi Richard, Best to post some photos of the fence without the extrusion on it, Felder has changed parts over the years and that way we can make accurate suggestions.? Brian

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
David, Greg said it powers up but shuts down as soon as he moves the slider so the first thing I would look for would be related to the slider. You are correct that the micro switches, especially one

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
Mariusz is certainly correct that it could be the remote stop circuit at the end of the sliding table if you have that option. But that’s not all that could be causing this. My Kappa 400 (which is

Re: Rip fence alignment
Hey Brian, thanks a lot for your response. Its fairly straight without clamping. Do you have any guidance on how to make these adjustments? I have tried to adjust the aluminium bar and also the 90

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
Hi Greg, I agree with Mariusz if you have a stop switch on the end of the slider. Only the stop switch uses the rails for carrying the current. It has also been reported here that this circuit is

Re: Sliding Table Saw Shutting Itself Off
Greg, This is a long shot as my saw does not have on and off switches on the slider, but the reason I chose not to have them was just this issue, if it is indeed what I think it is. If I’m not
