Re: FSC chain of custody certification
Hi Jacques You are absolutely right - my previous career was in certification albeit a different commodity (seafood) and it appears that FSC has a similar path to that industry certification,

Re: FSC chain of custody certification
Andy, I played in the margins of the certification processes in the early stages; probably 20 years ago or so. My recollection is that ? large ? operations were the target with a view to influence

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
For Kapex, the straight 36mm hose is the best (most CFM, which is what you need).? You can use the 36 on a random orbit if you really want with a hose adapter like these:

FSC chain of custody certification

Hammer K3 ZCI (Mk2)
I built a new ZCI for the K3 today. The reason for this was to improve two aspects of the old design. The Mk1 solution was to narrow the gap between blade and wagon with a section of aluminium ... (

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
That's fantastic to know. Do I need a joiner between the 2 hoses or will it just connect ? Chris.

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
Yeah, the plan is to use 36 on kapex and extend to 27mm hose to use orbital. What hose setting on vac for this? Chris

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
On my kapex, the 36mm works way better for collection than the 27. Agree, covering the ribs up makes it SO much nicer not to be catching on everything. Also, you can get an aftermarket hose cover.

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
Chris, I don¡¯t know about theKapex but the 27 mm hose tends to clog when I use an up cut spiral bit aggressively on my OF2200. Tim House [email protected]> wrote:

Re: Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
Hey Chris, I have both hoses, and I don¡¯t know that I notice a large difference in collection between the two. The 36mm one is the woven version, which is a nice upgrade over the ribbed hose. The

Festool joining 2x hoses -7m long
I'm looking to buy a festool ctm36 vac with the plan to use it with a kapex saw and orbital mainly. The vac come standard with a 3.5m 27mm hose, but you can also get a 3.5m 36mm hose. I've read that

Re: A3-41 Setup
Hi Noah, Also new to Felder, but I believe 0.01 inch is the tolerance their technicians will work towards. This doesn't mean you must have a 0.01 inch difference if you are not happy with the result.
