I omitted a part in my earlier comment.? A power feeder could be about the only safe way to climb cut on a molder.? This could be handy when working with a difficult material.

There is no advantage to a T-nut shape over a flat blank as long as the thickness of the blank is adequate for the threads. If the t-slot is shallow and the extra thickness of the nut is required,
