Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
I've used the Hoffmann, sold here in the US as Adler if I'm not mistaken. It's a good tool, also expensive. I have the Virutex and it's quite good despite being half the cost of it's competitors. My

Re: Felder BF 6 jointer table setup
You are getting some errors on your decimal points going from inch to metric there. I try to set my knives to where they all run within .001 or so, .002¡± is ok, but .001¡± would be better. I also

Re: Felder BF 6 jointer table setup
So I think I have figured out how to set the table now. I think I will upload a few photos later for future reference. I got the outfeed parallel to within 0.05 m.m (0.002") of the cutter head surface

Thanks Imran. I was asking specifically about the insert portion as the PDF made it seem like you could purchase that off the shelf. I did read some old threads here that said David Best used to have

John, The vortex 8mm shank spiral router bit cutting part is 1 inch long. I have not have plan to modify the $200 base. To have better control, I still believe the tool should rest on the panel

Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully I have better luck given that melamine is generally flat and the edge banding is thin. I have no idea how often I will edge band plywood in the future, so I didn¡¯t

Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
The OF1010 setup works reasonable if the material is completely flat which is now rare with plywood. One little slip and you're screwed. In my situation the MFK with 1.5 degree base is still the

Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
Ed, I have that base and 1/4¡± bit you have. It did not work well when I used it to trim 3/4¡± hard maple edge banding, difficult to operate. Lamello Cantex is really the best tool to trim edge

Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
Mark, I have OF1010 too. The 25mm diameter bit is less than 1 mm than the opening of the MFK700 base, kind of scary. I might just use it on OF1010. James

Re: AIGNER FLUSHFIX
Wow, an $1800 tool they sell for $3240 just because it is discontinued by Lamello. It was CAD $1850 in 2016. It was actually cheaper buying Cantex in Canada than states (US$ 1800) back then. I almost
