Re: Flipper Doors?

So, you want four doors to look like two? And then they have to retract into the cabinet? Maybe Soss hidden hinges on the two halves and then use flipper dooor hardware for the two assemblies.

Photos are commonly attached. Be sure to save it in a picture format (jpg, png, etc) first. I see .htm extension, which may be the issue.

Two more questions to the group regarding the 1100mm cross-cut fence:

1. What accuracy tolerances are you guys living with on this set up? ?My cuts were an 18” length. ?

2. There really is no way to index this fence to lock in from a side to side movement is there? ?Such as how the larger cross-cut fence is set up with a pin on my K700S. ?With how it’s removed, you have to loosen both Kipp levers and the aluminum mounting blocks just slide back and fourth losing their?locations. ?Am I thinking about that correctly?

Has anyone encountered this issue?

I can't really envision a fix, but also can't really see how a slight gradual uphill, especially one located only at the less used final part of the travel, would much matter in practice. (At least for the saw function; I know your machine has a shaper too that you perhaps use the table with.) I don't mean to fault you for doing the measurements, raising the issue and posing the question, of course, but is the uphill causing a problem?

KF700 Broken Power Drive Motor

Hi F.O.G,?

I have a 2007 Kf700 and the electronic rise and fall of the blade has stopped working. When I try to adjust blade height the motor makes a grinding noise but there is no movement.?

I have contacted Felder who have suggested it needs a new worm gear motor for this.?

Has anyone had any experience replacing this motor? Could you give any advice??

I have a quote for an engineer to come out but it is extremely expensive on top of the part and if I can replace it myself then I would like to.?

Thanks,?
