Re: Flipper Doors?
So, you want four doors to look like two? And then they have to retract into the cabinet? Maybe Soss hidden hinges on the two halves and then use flipper dooor hardware for the two assemblies. Brian Lamb blamb11@... lambtoolworks.com

开云体育Hi Mike, Can you confirm that the table itself is flat but you see the variation on the dial gauge as you described? Imran Malik IAM Wood Creations On Mar 28, 2025, at 1:06?AM, Mikecgrs via groups.io <Mikecgrs@...> wrote:
? I have a Hammer C3-41 with the 79 inch table. I have found that the back 20 inches of the sliding table gradually "kicks up" more than 0.020". Almost like the tail of a skateboard. The remainder of the table is flat (within a couple of thousandths) for the first 60 inches of travel. I am referencing with a dial gauge mounted to the iron table about 2 inches in front of the saw blade. I've looked in the posts but only see information about leveling the entire table. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Thanks,

开云体育Tables pretty light duty what I would do is put it between two sawhorses and stand on it. You have to jump on a little bit. That should straighten it out unless you have a press.martin/campshure/co/llc Designing and building for 50 years On Mar 28, 2025, at 1:30?PM, df.stone via groups.io <df.stone@...> wrote:

Re: Hammer C3-41 Sliding Table Question

I have the same sliding table, though on a K3. I have never attempted to measure how flat the sliding aluminum table is along its length--which is what you're referencing, if I understand correctly. But I would not be surprised if mine had that amount of deviation, just given the overall realities of the machine. I can't really envision a fix, but also can't really see how a slight gradual uphill, especially one located only at the less used final part of the travel, would much matter in practice. (At least for the saw function; I know your machine has a shaper too that you perhaps use the table with.) I don't mean to fault you for doing the measurements, raising the issue and posing the question, of course, but is the uphill causing a problem?

Re: Fixing Felder X-roll short cross cut fence T-nut - AKA group buy of improved T-nut
开云体育Hi Wade,There is a stop on the 1100 xcut fence. This is the only way to keep the scale accurate. The stop goes in the channel where blocks slide. The stop had a set screw fixing its location. The locking AL block is registered against this stop to keep scale accurate. Not home so can’t share a pic. There must be one in the survival guide. David mentioned on his Flickr video, regarding this upgrade, that probably 9 out of 10 1100mm cross-cut fences do not register accurately each time they are put on, taken off, put on again…etc. ?I’m definitely in the “9” group! ?I took sometime this morning to run through four setups. ?Removing the fence completely each time, just to see where my setup was. ?Attached picture showing the results.

You can see the results were all over the place with the various dimensions. ?
So Netanel count me in for a single set up. ?I’ll ship my aluminum block to you when needed. As for the flip stop not being offered for the single setup order, I’m hoping you could reconsider. ?Reason being is two fold. ?David mentioned the single adjustment screw in the newly designed flip stop is a much easier?experience. ?Versus messing around with two points to go back and forth each time to get things dialed in. ?And second point, aesthetically, it just looks great! ?See the comparison pictures.
Two more questions to the group regarding the 1100mm cross-cut fence:
1. What accuracy tolerances are you guys living with on this set up? ?My cuts were an 18” length. ? ?
2. There really is no way to index this fence to lock in from a side to side movement is there? ?Such as how the larger cross-cut fence is set up with a pin on my K700S. ?With how it’s removed, you have to loosen both Kipp levers and the aluminum mounting blocks just slide back and fourth losing their?locations. ?Am I thinking about that correctly?
?
Thx,

KF700 Broken Power Drive Motor
Hi F.O.G,? I have a 2007 Kf700 and the electronic rise and fall of the blade has stopped working. When I try to adjust blade height the motor makes a grinding noise but there is no movement.? I have contacted Felder who have suggested it needs a new worm gear motor for this.? Has anyone had any experience replacing this motor? Could you give any advice?? I have a quote for an engineer to come out but it is extremely expensive on top of the part and if I can replace it myself then I would like to.? Thanks,? Aidan? |
