I don't mean to speak for David, but last I spoke to him he was no longer making them. ?I'd also be very interested in buying one if someone with machining skills decided to fabricate some. ?

Are there any tips and/ or tricks for setting up the short crosscut fence for the first time. It seems incredibly fiddly to swing away, adjust bolt, test, swing away again, adjust bolt again blau blau blau.
It just seems to alter everytime it is locked back down again after an adjustment. How does everyone else get it dead square and keep it dead square??
In addition is there a trick for dialling in the length cutting on the fence I.e adjusting the crosshair on the fence scale??
With thanks in advance?

I assume the motor has a contactor. In general a contactor can be placed at a distance from the motor. It may actually be not too much work if the 3 phase is going to be routed from inside of shed.
Or you can replace the original contactor with one with 110V relay control. In this case, you can either control the dust collector with a 110V wired light switch on the wall or with a wireless remote (FOB) setup.
I am not an electrician so please follow your local code.

Are your short crosscut fence kits still available? ?A long while back I was on “the list” if you were ever planning to do another run of these. ?I’m close enough to you to pick up in person and it would be an opportunity to tour that sweet shop of yours. ?

At the back of the machine there's a pipe that seats onto a gasket in between the two bags when you lift the bag bin into place.? This diverts suction to the bottom of the bin to hold the bags down.? If you don't have a good seal here, or if a bag is covering this orifice, the bags can get sucked up.? Hope that helps!?

I recall that it did this shortly after I purchased it but this was resolved until now when I dialled up the little rotary switch that I presume adjusts the vacuum pressure to hold the bags down. Should I do this again? There is no obvious point of leakage - both plastic see-through windows are sealed. Not sure what might have changed to cause this. Any thoughts? Thanks. Phil

Both Brian and Dan gave you approaches that work well and are simple to implement.
For my part, I always like to complicate things a bit ?:
I have cut chamfers on my spindle using a single blade from my dado set, angled to the desired slope. I was already setup to cut corner splines on a small box so this was an easy task to perform. The piece was sitting on the slider. Proper safety guards in place and the fence on the shaper hood acted as the stop. It worked very well and saved me from having to switch functions on my B3.

Meyer Woodworks sells a filter shaker designed for the Oneida V-3000.? It includes a custom-made fitting that bolts in-line at the bottom of the filter with an electric shaker.? It sells for $175.?

It appears that Meyer uses the larger 100 watt version of the concrete vibrator that Amazon sells for about $80.? The adapter could be easily cut with a laser or cnc.
This would be easy enough to do by tilting the blade on your slider and bringing your rip fence in as a stop with fence pulled back just before the blade. I cut all my 45s that way on the slider.?

This is just a shelf that goes on top of friends dog crate. I chamfered with Felder 150 mm shear rebate head at 45 deg and got a chip out in one spot. Is there a way to minimize chances of this happening, like putting a tape on the surface being milled? I know it is risky to do it on the end grain. Perhaps, I should have done it in couple of passes.
