Re: Felder CF731 won't start

开云体育I’m not an electrician, but if you have checked that the yellow reverse light works and that it’s not coming on, then you have an open e-stop string or limit switch somewhere. You are going to get crickets on the schematic for the board… nobody is going to have that shy of Felder.

Re: K700 saw tilt
The saw tilt shipping screws are the same on a new KF700.? The right-side bolt is easily accessible from between the top and the frame. (Hopefully, adding this note helps folks find this thread for KF700 installations.)
Regarding, the bolt for the bar, I didn't like how it banged when it reached the stop, so I replaced the lower nut with a faucet washer. Now, it sounds and feels like a Felder should. The whole assembly process feels like rebuilding an engine, hoping you don't have hardware left over when you're done. In my case, I hope Felder packed an extra large bolt with the overhead saw guard.... |
Re: Digital Rip Fence mod on K500
Hi Bill,
It looked like you were almost there with your aluminum bracket (it looks so close you could probably just epoxy it in).? Aluminum has the advantage of being easy to work.? Thinner is better for working with basic tools, I used only 1/16" aluminum angle in my install.? That was great because you can bent it slightly to get the angle adjusted if needed (casting sides are usually not square since the need to release from the mold).? I only had basic tools for my install (vise, file, drill, drill press, tap for mounting the bracket).? So just keep at it and you will get there.? It is a very nice addition to the saw. Best, Johannes |
Felder CF731 won't start
#electrical
Hello,?????????? I am Jonathan, nice to meet you. I recently acquired a Felder CF731 from 2001 (three-phased powered, with electrical braking of the motors, I do not have digital control of the height/angles of the tools nor any electrical speed control of the motors). I got it from a person who passed away, so I cannot get any info from the previous owner. Unfortunately, I cannot start the machine. Any support would be a great help. When I switch on the machine in reverse shaper mode, the yellow light does not light up. I checked all the security switches (saw cover, planer table and planer dust collector) and all stop buttons. All are working fine and to make 100% sure, I short-circuited them. I also checked the yellow light bulb and it is working well. I checked the main On/Off switch and the “shaper/planer/saw” selector and they are working fine. There is current going to the board and there is a green LED lighted up close to the microcontroller PIC on the board (not sure about the meaning of this LED, I suppose it is showing that the 24V power supply to the microcontroller is working well??)
The relays have 4 in/out connections, 3 are for the 3 phases and are NC (normally closed), one is for the activation of the relay (A1/A2) and one called NC or NO that is (I presume) used to know the state of the relay? (open or closed). I’ll call that last connection the “state control connection”. I noticed that the relay for the start of the motor has a “state control connection” which is NO (Normally Open) but the relay for the braking is a NC (Normally Closed). I think that both relays are originally supposed to be the same and that the previous owner made a mistake when replacing one?? Also, what about the orientations of the connections, he might have made a mistake, too.
My board is a Siemens C98451-D6094-P10-2-86 (number engraved on the board) or C98451-D6094-A20-02-22 (number written on the white label sticked on the board). Also, if by chance somebody have the electrical drawing of the board (not the connection drawing provided by Felder with the machine, but the one of the board circuit), it would also be helpful! Thanks so much for your support, Best regards, Jonathan |

Martin Fritz and Franz Jig For Sale
A few years ago I bought, from Martin an F & F gig, complete set. ?However, I have not used the set and it is available for sale. This is the same as the item that Felder sells as item 01.0.242 in their catalogue. ?Hopefully the image will come through. ?The only difference is that the wall bracket has a ?Martin label on the lower right corner though the jigs and clamps are for a Felder X-roll. ?The current Felder price is $905. ?I am asking $575, including shipping within the US.

How did you order one David? I don't see that option on the WestOak website.. Bill Bélanger On Sun, Jan 2, 2022 at 11:19 AM David Davies <myfinishingtouch@...> wrote:

It must be easy to store since you can't even see it in the picture.? I ordered one and if I don't have room it'll just stay broken down until I get my retirement shop...and Panel Handler and Barth apparently. Re: Digital Rip Fence mod on K500
Thanks for the private feedbacks I received,
I am now looking for this kind of solution as it seems easy to adjust: /g/felderownersgroup/photo/104452/1245905?p=Created%2C%2C%2C20%2C2%2C0%2C0 I wonder what is the name of this metal profile? It looks like a mix between U and Z. Bill |

Thank you David!? Wow, I wish I had thought to swing the table back further, that would have greatly simplified the process.
I am also a Mulit-Router user, just saw your table extension, that is a great idea! |
