I've been shooting videos for my Great Guitar Buildoff entry with just my Moto phone. I downloaded an app called Youcut for editing them right from the phone as well. Works well enough for Instagram. I'm mostly trimming and adjusting speed, removing the noisy shop audio. Jason Holtz

Easiest/Cheapest way to produce high quality video IMHO is to have an iPad and use Luma Fusion.?
It can do 90% of the edits I do with Final Cut Pro but the app costs about 20$ and is actually very fun to use and learn.?
And if you get one of the latest iPad, the camera is very decent to film with as long as you are in good light.?
I have a Macbook Pro laptop. I use the free iMovie software to edit the video.
When I was more of a Windows user, I purchased PowerDirector, about ($70), and was very happy with that. I actually preferred PowerDirector to iMovie, ?but I don’t currently have a Windows computer.

You lucky man! Keep the FB540. I’m in a similar position, with an FB540 and several older and larger bandsaws, mid-restoration. Don’t underestimate the value of the FB540. It is worth a lot more than you’ll get for it, in my opinion as it is an original ACM built machine.
Put a 1/4 blade on it, tuck it behind one of your larger saws, and enjoy the fact that you can walk up to it and cut curves whenever you feel like it!

I won a 32" Northfield bandsaw on an auction this week.? I also recently bought a 30" Tannewitz bandsaw that I am restoring.? I will sell my 20" Felder FB540.? Neither the Tanny or the Northfield have a fence and I do use the fence on the FB540. Ideally I'd have either Aigner or Felder F-rail for the fence and one on the outfeed side so I can add extension tables when needed.? Does anyone's bandsaw fence mount to the same rail as either Aigner or Felder?

Yep, I have a large bag as well. ?I use a three way valve rigged to the vacuum line and duct tape my Festool to the split in the line. ?Open the valve, evacuate the bag, then turn the Festool off and close the valve. ?Works great.
I was taught that you need to be able to pull 21 inches of mercury to have sufficient pressure in your bag. ?I had a Venturi that I built from Joe Woodworker’s plans. ?It never would pull 21 inches, but I also am at nearly 6,000 feet in elevation. ?As a result, I bought a Veneer Systems pump and couldn’t be happier. ?

Should have no issues, the standard motor on the 2019 k700s that I had seemed to have plenty of power.

I have a 3kw kf 700 and ripping and crosscutting to 8/4 has been no problem. ?Crosscutting to 12/4 has been fine too. ?I imagine long rips of 12/4 ?might give it trouble but in two years have found the 3kw to be fine. ?

Hi, I am looking to order a k 700 s this week.
where I am at the moment I only have single phase. Does anyone have experience with this saw with felders 3kw single phase motor? I am worried it might not have enough power. My other option is to get the 5.5kw and run a rotary phase converter.
Any information would be much appreciated.
