the drawing for the custom bracket is in files section. the remaining parts are available from mcmaster carr. i can send you the parts list if you are interested. i had some brackets made but i am out of them now. if at least 4 people want them i may be able to coax the local metal worker to make another set.

Just to close out on this for those who might be interested, I ordered a 125lb gas spring to try in place of the 250lb spring I had been using. It arrived this evening and I just installed it. It works!? While it didn't make the feeder weightless, it does make it much, much easier to raise and lower.? Thanks to everyone for the help and advice.?

Lucky, yes I had to improvise with what I have, I only do this part time so I cant justify spending $$ on a dedicated industrial complex.? the dead zone behind panel saw is really useful for bandsaw, I can almost utilise the slider if I need to.? I cut full sheet (8x4) ply, particle board or MDF from time to time, no issues. it just clears. however there is only about 5'8" to the right of the panel saw, not ideal, if I get long stock I cut it outside.?

Put the selector button in reverse for the shaper, see if the yellow light comes on. If it doesn¡¯t, you have an open connection in your e-stop string. All the limit switches and stop buttons are daisy chained into one circuit, if any of
them are open, you can¡¯t start the machine.

Power cycling

Fuses checked with ohm meter

Safety switches properly engaged

Switching from saw to shaper several times
Neither the saw nor shaper will start.?

For the KF 700S the Felder catalog lists the 1300mm outrigger as standard, while also listing the three lenghts available for the slider.
Yet, I have been told that if you get anything other than the 8 foot slider, you must choose the 1500mm outrigger. Can anyone confirm whether or not I can order a 9 foot slider with a 1300mm outrigger??

If you have a T54 and T45 already, how do you not get the saw to match?
I assume $15,000 is a decent price on a 940S? Its unusual, but it seems i see more 'almost brand new' Felders being sold like this than any other brand. i really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. yes i was interested in this model for metal work. the auction also has a model with higher speed range more appropriate for wood. an urgent family matter came up last night so i am unable to pursue this. actually auction might be close to over by now. seems like good price but there is no word on condition. had i foond it earlier i could have seen them in person. i did. find out that all 20¡± doall bandsaws are 460V.

The one I have is designed for metal working as it has a reverse, a coolant reservoir in the base, and is variable speed.? It has very solid construction and weighs nearly 900 lbs.? The table does not tilt and is quite large and stout with solid table adjustments and locks.? The only problem I have had is with the sheave variable speed as it locked up due to the lithium grease separating from the carrier.? That stuff is like glue getting it apart to clean and lubricate.? Overall, I give it a thumbs up especially if you intend on using it for metal work.
