Re: Potentiall gotcha with the cheap Chinese DRO's
Hi Bryce, Is the issue only at the zero location? Is it possible that the mag tape got damaged somehow at that location? The cover plate should not have any effect. Imran Malik IAM Wood

Potentiall gotcha with the cheap Chinese DRO's
Hi all, Just thought i would give everyone using the M503 digital readouts a heads up on a potential issue. This may simply be a case of "you get what you pay for" & i'm ok with that sometimes. I

Everything the plaster is used was the aluminum profile and when I did work at my house with Plaster, I don’t use drywall. I use steel profiles. martin/campshure/co/llc mac campshure 7412 elmwood

Re: Totally unrelated question
I did the same "shadow" thing in my house with jambs and baseboards using Trimtex z bead [1]. It was not the easiest thing to find, but two drywall supply stores within forty minutes drive stocked it

Way too many teeth called to make a great blade that’s inexpensive and I think it’s 300 diameter and 20 tooth maybe or 28 tooth AB replace. Mac,, martin/campshure/co/llc mac campshure 7412 elmwood

Re: Vinyl Tile Flooring
Dave, I used a glue down commercial grade vinyl. ?Very happy with this product. ?Looks good, easy to sweep, easy to repair like vinyl tires. ?It seems to be a bit more resilient than hard concrete

Re: Saw blade for cross cut.
Chris, I should have added that in my experience one does not need high tooth count for cross cutting solid wood. The PN I shared below, you can see in application column, is recommended for veneer

Re: Vinyl Tile Flooring
Hi Dave Unfortunately, it is too early for me to make a recommendation, but it's likely our new workshop floor will be "burnished" concrete.? It's also recommended I apply a good sealer after that.?
Re: Totally unrelated question
Hi Mariusz Clinton's suggestion is what came to mind when I read your post. In addition to that, having the "shadow area" including edges of the ply all black helps too. (check out this Scott Brown
