Best option is the felder "Digital" readout costs about $160 depending on the sale + tax/shipping if I recall. A Wixey or simmilar would be easy to add, you might need to make a bracket that attaches

Gordie, Same view as Derek¡¯s. The scale is calibrated at 0.1mm intervals and can be extrapolated at 0.05mm or so. Anything finer is hand plane territory in my view. Regards, Jacques
