Re: AD941 Planer Thickness Variation
Okay, thanks everyone. I'll just leave this adjustment alone. I spent virtually the whole weekend getting the infeed table coplanar with the outfeed table and got every measurement point within

Re: AD941 Planer Thickness Variation
Yes. It¡¯s similar in scope, but I don¡¯t recommend it for something like 0.005¡± difference across the thicknessed material. The adjustment is accomplished by altering the planer table height on

Re: Rangate 300 Lift Cart
Nothing wrong with the Husky carts, I have three 54¡± benches and I use them as material carts around my shop. They double as infeed/outfeed for jointer, planer, and wide belt sander. For $220 a

Re: AD941 Planer Thickness Variation
I bet it's more likely an errant chip stuck somewhere or inconsistent wood density across the face will cause your stock to feed slightly off-plane. Or, just run it through twice and/or flip

Re: Rangate 300 Lift Cart
I have both the Rangate and Barth lift tables, both very nice and equal build quality. I do notice that the Barth raises more per pump stroke. Also, unless they now offer a top option, the Rangate

I bought the 6ft long adjustable husky rolling bench and put a 4'x8' torsion box table on top of it instead of the top it came with. I use it as my main assembly table. Only problem is that the hand

AD941 Planer Thickness Variation
I'm also done with the self-commissioning of my new AD941. I ran a couple of 3" wide pieces of red oak, one on the left side of the planer ("thicknesser") and one on the right. There was about 0.005"

CF741 won't start
So, I went to start my CF741 today and no luck. Power is on to the machine, the reverse light does not illuminate, so I presume it is a failed stop switch. I¡¯ve blown out the ones that I¡¯m aware
