开云体育Paul, probably better to turn down the Kipp lever shaft than drill your machine. Can you post some photos? ?David Best - via mobile phone? On May 7, 2025, at 11:26?AM, Paul Mc Cann via groups.io <tpmccann@...> wrote:

Kipp lever on 731
One of the kipp, levers whcih secure the planer bed on my CF731 gave up the ghost. I orered a replacement from Austria . It arrived today and the shaft of the new kipp lever is 1mm thicker in diameteter? than mine. I've asked fot a replacement but don't have much? hope
I am not engineering inclined but my qustion is how difficult would it be to ream out the hole in my machine to suit the new kipp lever. Access is simple so if a drill and bit would do the job i'm good to go, aways assuming I can source a suitable19mm bit. I don't want ro start this and fail as I would end up having to replace he whole handle assembly.
So would it be safe to allow a rank amateur at this ?
?
I think my 731 is nearly due for rplacement but at my age thats not going to happen. My recent problem with a non starting planer/thicknesser has been resolved. It required a replacement power relay (Omron Plug In Power Relay, DPDT ) is what the invoice says. I watched the engineer , a man from Venezuela would you believe, carry out the repair, a 5 minute job. Hopefully if it fails again I will be able to fix it my self
?
Thanks? for all help given

Re: contacting you to post Felder & other accessories items for sale
Here is an updated list of items for sale with prices. Is it ok to post photos of the items? Is it better to make an album and upload them into the album?
?
Please note: I would prefer to sell the larger items locally. Thanks

Thanks, John |
Re: contacting you to post Felder & other accessories items for sale
Hello Andres,? I'm getting back to you about the Aigner Countermax for sale. I'm asking $100 plus shipping. I need to see which USPS flat rate box will work. Either a medium or large flat rate box. I try to keep shipping as low as possible.
?
Any othe items you might be interested? I have a few items that are pending.

Re: K700 LCD issue
It’s not impossible, but it will be challenging. I used to design products with these ages ago (in Watertown,WI Mac :). If you go, this route, apart from the de-soldering/soldering challenges, be mindful of supply voltages. Blue seven segment displays have a higher forward voltage drop than red seven segment displays. So if you can’t find blue, you’ll have to discover what they did to change the drive voltage at the display. |

开云体育Hi Jerry,I have only used the pistol grip ones that run with vacuum. At home I only have a solder sucker (like what you shared but no iron) and was able to replace couple of ICs on my TV but was no fun. Anyhow, thanks for sharing. It has a decent rating but I have no personal experience. Imran Malik IAM Wood Creations On May 6, 2025, at 10:20?AM, Jerry P via groups.io <Jerry-Pac-Man@...> wrote:

Re: K700 LCD issue
开云体育Hi Joe, I can’t find the exact same PN and only one hit on ELS511. I have not used them so no insight. It is possible that if you match the physical size, they work the same way. I would at least measure the operating voltage. The one I found, operates on 5V. You may know this but a solder sucker iron will go a long way to do this right. I can’t believe a desoldering station can be bought for under $150 from Amazon. I am really surprised with the number and size of electrolytic capacitors shown and that is just for the 4 segments. I assume this is to reduce flicker and wonder if it is possible that the issue is on the voltage supply side vs the segments or both. Just random thoughts ?
