Re: FB 610 vs 710 #whatmachinetobuy
Mike, The FB710 is about 51.5" deep from back of the spine column to the edge of the cast iron table, which is 33 x 27.5 inches with you standing at the infeed side.? Table height is about 36".?

Re: Adding fence to bandsaw?
I get that David's response was tongue in cheek as was mine but I thought in a group such as this the methods to prevent drift would be well known. This what I do......... Install the widest blade you

Re: Fiama magnetic tape alternatives
I would not use tape from another brand, the pole spacing could be different. I have the banding, and currently sell it for $90 per meter ($27.50 approx. per foot). I¡¯m running low, so will have to

Re: Bearing Replacement on KF7
Willis, Do you have the parts diagrams book? If not call Felder with S/N and they should be able to provide you with a soft copy. Same goes for the manual if you did not get one. They may also be able

Fiama magnetic tape alternatives
Hello, I wondered whether anybody in the group has experience whether the magnetic tapes that come with Fiama F7s are interchangeable with other manufacturers.? The last time I bought from Joe Slovak

Bearing Replacement on KF7
I'm a new owner of a 1999 KF7F, I won it at an auction, all I know is that for the last 8 years its been stored in a shop unused. I've got a number of questions about getting it set up they way I

Re: FB 610 vs 710 #whatmachinetobuy
I have the earlier 600 and my spring bottoms out well before getting to 25k-30k. It does not provide the recommend 25k-30k that morse recommends for the 1" carbide blade I have. But it cuts pretty

Not to beat a dead horse but I saw this when I was looking for a saw with longer slider. Until seeing this I thought a lot more space is needed for the PF. Sorry pic is not in good focus. Imran Sent:

Re: Felder Dado and Shaper cutter questions
Randy, Thanks for the photos. I've never enjoyed having to change to a rip blade from a crosscut blade to rip lumber, so I've kept my old table saw after I got a K700s. But now that I see what you've

Re: Felder Dado and Shaper cutter questions
Yes, but that can be more complicated than it¡¯s worth. I have .750 diameter router bits for dados in Melamine (which measures like .740), and then I have a .720 bit for plywood that is undersize.

Re: Adding fence to bandsaw?
I like the idea. The Tannewitz table was apparently set where the factory thought it should be and all parts have taper pins and bolts. If I have drift the fence will have to adust. Sent: Thursday,
