I have the earlier 600 and my spring bottoms out well before getting to 25k-30k. It does not provide the recommend 25k-30k that morse recommends for the 1" carbide blade I have. But it cuts pretty well at the 20k-22k that I can get out of the spring. Wasn't the easiest thing to measure. But Young's Modulus was very helpful.
