That totally depends on what you do. If you use the shaper for template work with a guide bearing a PF does not help you. With proper jigs and holding you can perfectly do without a power feeder

Gary, not sure if Felder has changed motor mount from face to foot mount, if it is still face mount then motor gets its movement up and down by way of slots cut into machine body once 4 retaining

Jeff, I assume you are asking me. Loosen the bolts circled and the lower nuts in the following pictures, That let the bracket lift up enough to attach the shock. Then tighten it back down. There is no

I've mounted the bottom of the bracket such that I need to compress it about an inch. How much did you need to compress the felder has spring?? I'm thinking that even if I can rotate the bracket up
