Hi James. I loosened the top screws and removed the bottom nuts. That's let's me tilt the bracket far enough to mount the gas spring, but I can't get the spring to compress back down so I can't get the bottom bolts back through the holes so I can't reinstall the bottom bolts. How did you compress the spring after you installed it?
