Re: KF 700 SP options
I ordered my Profil with provisions to provide power for the feeder which it does well. The outlet is on the back left side just below the second dust port and uses a European style plug which is

Yep another great recommendation on Mac's clamps. Air clamps are IMHO a must upgrade. Also adding Brian Lamb's parallel cutting setup. Both are essential to how I operate. Joe Jensen | VP Internet of

Re: KF 700 SP options
I highly recommend that you consider the Aigner fence. It allows you to easily cover most of the opening between fences when shaping. It's expensive but I consider it the best upgrade I made when

Re: KF 700 SP options
It sounds like you think a 10HP motor automatically uses up the capacity of a 10HP PP. This is not that case. The PP rating is the maximum load it supports, expressed for convenience in HP, but a more

Re: KF 700 SP options
I have a Comatic DC40 on a smart feeder on a 2009 KF700SP on the Felder tilt bracket with a self-built big lift type gas strut. The 4 wheel is large and heavy and I would never be able to flip it

Re: Aigner shaper accessories on Felder Combos
basically all you need to do is to enlarge the hole in the shaper hood to allow the threaded rod from the Aigner mounting stud to fit. You can see (if the pictures made it) the mounting stud can

Thanks David. I think I will skip Option 173. It sounds from your description to be more of a challenge to use it. I also don't see if I will need it for any future project. Although now that I stated

Thanks a David, I kinda figured the only reason to remove it was the need for additional space. I could see this situation in my shop much like yours. However the prospect of needing or wanting to

Very good point. I learn something new every day! The upshot is you can always add it later if your workflow would benefit. The extension on the other hand looks to be factory only. I briefly looked

Does it do any harm leaving the slider fully extended for say a few days at at time? Would it droop under its own weight to a point that it would affect normal usage afterwards? Stephen

There is an advantage in my workflow to having a second digital stop on the main part of the fence. I routinely set up to cut parts that are all x by y dimension and having a second stop means I can
