As for the height, I realise it can be adjusted, but the problem I have is that the top of the stand is actually too high - so that if the morticer is at the correct height to slot in, then the hole is obscured by the top of the stand! I am thinking of cutting off the top 1-2cm of the stand, this will open the slot unfortunately but I suspect it will still be stiff enough to hold.
