Re: Inset drawer lighting

In the summer 2024 I completed a project that the client wanted draw lighting, tried to get the Grass Dynopro draw boxes with integrated lights. We were told the Grass had no stock and didn't know when they would be restocking.
We ended using the resessed LED defuses with a sensor¡¡

I could be wrong, but it seems like lighting in drawers is a gimmick... I have never had an issue opening a drawer and finding it to dim to see what I was after... unless I suppose none of the lights in the kitchen were on. Seems like a complex and costly addition that offers not a lot of return.

I do use my undercabinet countertop lighting on occasion, but even that is a rare occurence for what I spent to do it.

I am finishing up my window build and moving towards planning on the kitchen. One of the questions I have is what is what to do with inset drawer lighting. It seems like everything is geared toward frameless. Thoughts?
