When talking about the 40mm knives for these particular cutter heads I don¡¯t think any profiles have cuts below the flat limiter edge.? I think all profiles are from the flat limiter and out.
I remember struggling with getting knives and limiters for these cutter heads years ago.? I found that I could get knives from Guhdo or Felder at the time and Guhdo was much faster.? The knives and limiters were not widely available in the US around 2010 that I could find.? The fellow from Guhdo pointed out that I could use the flat limiter with any profile as long as power feeding and that was very helpful. ?
I had several of these cutter heads and would leave them set up, using flat limiters saved money.? I had two cutter heads set up for tongue and groove.
