I'm not sure if it was you commenting when you had upgraded your cutterhead, but the revelation that it seemed to lack the power that it had with straight knives combined with the intimidation I felt with the entire idea of disassembling?my BF631 scared me off. I chose a new machine (F700S) instead and an SCM FS41ES instead of the comparable 16" Felder.
In any event...this guy seems to have found a solution if you don't mind taking it apart. If anyone wants a BF631...I have mine for sale!

That looks like a much nicer looking head than the one i put in my CF531. One thing i noticed when i did, was that the machine seemed a little underpowered compared to the original 4 knife head. In every other way it was way better.?
