Just got a new saw today! Ordered in March, so it has been a long wait.

Unfortunately Felder shipped someone else¡¯s slider with it. The first thing the rigger brought in was that incorrect slider, and as soon as he had it in the shop Felder called to ask for the serial number and tell me it was the wrong one. Ah, well. Felder is taking care of it.

I am a bit confused about assembly and commissioning. Perhaps someone here can give me some advice.

How much assembly am I supposed to do before the tech arrives? I am supposed to send a photo showing power connected and dust collection connected, which requires some assembly. I cannot verify that the power is connected correctly until the slider and the control display is hooked up. However, the user manual says only authorized Felder techs can do assembly and the manual does not provide much assembly information.

The tech is supposed to arrive between 3 and 4 PM the day of the commissioning, which does not leave much time for assembly. That suggests I ought to have the basic assembly done.
