I have PowerDrive on a ~2021 KF700S. I'm glad I spent the money. It's especially useful for setting the shaper. I keep a log of where I set various knives and go back to the setting next time. From there, I micro-adjust. It's also handy if forgot something and need to go back to the saw. I drop the shaper and bring it back up to the same exact location.

The controls must be different that Imran's: There's a knob for up/down that accelerates as you hold it. There's also a push-button to creep up on an exact height. Admittedly, the button may occassionally skip by 10 thousandths, but if you demand the accuracy you can get to the 5 thousandths location in a couple tries.

Note: I remember the directions for calibrating the saw height being either cryptic or incorrect.
