I have the 5HP Oneida gorilla pro with 6" ducting.
As the wye branch has 4" branch anyway, I think I can simply try both ways. The machine adapter from 4" QC to 80mm or 4QC" to 4" flex hose is ~$15.
I have plenty of 4" hose from my old setup.
