PK, it is very difficult to figure out all the option, Felder really doesn't make the buying process easy. Originally I was looking at the K700 but as I keep adding options the price keep going higher and higher. At the end of day I changed my order from a fully loaded K700 to the Kappa 400 X-Motion. At age 63 I figure this will be my last saw and I didn't want any regrets. I spent many hours here researching the options and pouring over the catalog. David Best was a huge help and we exchanged many emails and had a couple of phone calls. I ended up configuring my saw with 3 digital stops on the crosscut fence, 7.5hp motor, 2800mm sliding table and #139 integrated remote switches on sliding table. Other options included: #82 Classic scoring unit with #88 electrical height adjustment with automatic rise and fall, #79 scoring unit LED status light, #71 storage compartment for 5 saw blades, #161 1250 x 650mm X-Roll outrigger table with adjustable support and digital angle display, 120m scoring blade, 400mm rip blade, #780 /quick-Lock, Felder Dado blade set and 1 full surface support 430-213. From my previous K500 I already have side hand lever (butt bar), X-Roll parallel fence 430-149 and the fantastic Airtight clamps from Mac.
