I have 2 parallel guides with the tables, typically on the slider all the time. They are great butt bars easy to move and having 2 is my greatest slider extravagance. They are never tightened and free to move on a whim. Without them my work flow on other sliders is totally screwed. The butt bar is a hazard IMHO, really good for bruised hips and other parts LOL.

I was thinking the same thing but found the table got in the way most of the time and it doesn¡¯t adjust as easily/quickly as the butt bar. Also the parallel fence and table is like $500 and the butt bar is around $80 and are we talking about the same thing?
