Brad, Thank you for the pics. Steve and Brad, As I recall my '68 vert (early Jan '68 build date) had 4 of those front seat "tower" spacers (3rd & 4th pics), 2 on the back of each bucket seat.

Top 2 back holes in middle have little stands that bucket seats are on. Looks like there is a flat reinforcement piece on 2 middle bolts under car. Can see image for it in undercoating. Screwdrivers
