Re: Engine lift hooks
Hi Chuck....do you have the scj in your car. I saw the second lift hook being larger than the other. eBay had two sets available. The ones I ordered said 68 1/2 cj the other said 68-70 scj. Dennis On Tue, Jul 9, 2024, 12:25?PM Linc via <linc=[email protected]> wrote:

Dennis, IF you can get the seller to ship them direct to Linc it would save some on shipping and time (not that time matters). :) David from WNY On Monday, July 8, 2024 at 07:51:01 PM EDT, Dennis Bregitzer <dennis.bregitzer@...> wrote: How about I buy them for me ...ship them to you to copy....send them back to me? Re: Mirrors
To fix mine with the same problem as yours, My friend made a narrow sheet metal plate with the correct size nuts welded on spaced apart to align up with the mounting holes in the mirror. The plate went under the top of the door. Another option is to use the correct size (the name escapes me at the moment) expanding metal nut It pops in from the top and as you tighten the screw/bolt it expands and tightens itself in the hole. Otherwise IF you can weld the hole closed, drill and tap the correct size. Good luck not burning the paint out past where the mirror would hide it. You MIGHT be able to use some of that 2 part Steel Epoxy Putty that you kneed together and try to mush into the holes and on the metal around them on both sides of the door sheet metal. Once cured you can try carefully drilling and tapping it hopping the cured epoxy doesn't spin on the sheet metal and paint either when drilling and/or tapping OR when tightening the screws. Good Luck. David from WNY On Monday, July 8, 2024 at 03:53:42 PM EDT, gwojtyna@... <gwojtyna@...> wrote: Chrome, I have one now, but it cannot be tightened, and moves when the door is closed.
