Re: One repair leads to another.
Fortunately, rust is one thing I don't have to deal with on my Cobra. It has been a CA car all its life. I walked away from many Cobras during my 3 year search in the early 2000s because they had more

One repair leads to another.
Today is the day to replace the check valve for the master cylinder power booster.? The new part appears to be a perfect fit but is not 100% identical to the?old one overall,?however close. Removal

I am running a Comp Cams XE262H # 33-238-4 (Note: Comp's cam specs are based on 1.73 ratio rockers. I have the 1.76 ratio rockers so you need to recalculate to the larger #s by multiplying 1.76 by the

Linc, I would not say it has great brakes but they are pretty good.? The cam is decent one.? It is a Crower 280HDP which is slightly more cam than a stock 428CJ cam.? It is a very streetable cam

I would imagine that this is pretty much the same across the line for all Toronto, fairlane, ranchero, montego, 68 69. The hood latch release mechanism attaches to thos metal part

Does anyone know IF maybe a Galaxy or LTD one (or possibly another Ford/Merc product line/car/truck) is maybe the same? There is a good chance that maybe a 70/71 Torino hood part might be the same. IF

Re: My 1970 Boss 429 Mustang, Sleeper maybe?
Indeed. I never had a Boss, ( my little brother had a 70 Boss 302) but my 70 has a 429 CJ. That car was pretty fast off the line, but once you hit 60 (mph) it seemed like another 4 bbl kicked in. From

My 1970 Boss 429 Mustang, Sleeper maybe?
Dave, my ol' roommate, Your hoodscoop description is correct. As for Boss 429 option availability, I wonder about that. Given the very low production numbers, under 600 for 1970, I wonder if you just
