Re: Build Sheet
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHello Group, I have published this all many times, but since the topic came up again... Here the recorded locations that build sheets have been found. Seats - (placed here by the trim team) Inside the seat front backs (buckets or Bench) Between the main springs and foam seat bottoms (Front or Rear) Flooring - (Placed when body heads to final assembly) Under the carpet in any location Under the trunk mat Inside the Passenger Kick Panel Random There have been two found above the headliner There has been one found behind the sail panel There have been four found above the glove box, usually wrapped to the harness There was one found in the quarter dog leg (Probably started under the trunk mat) The reality is that, other than the seating, these can be found wherever they were deposited by the line personnel. So you should look for them and take care to preserve them. When and if you find them look at the rotation number, and then compare to the rotation number on your car. Your rotation number can be found a variety of places but most common are the outside of the front fender apron near the core support. The second most common location is the drivers side behind there rear bumper on the tail panel. You can find multiple copies of your build sheet, you can also find copies of build sheets for other vehicles. You can also get the rotation number in multiple location and have them be different. These things happened and have been documented. But don't ask me why, I can only say 'because humans were involved". Best of luck to you. --============================================================ I am Linc.....
