I've got a '95 EVC and it has the nonheated power mirrors. I need to replace
the glass on the left mirror and also do some work to the gears. Has anyone
had one of these mirrors apart? I can't find

Air comes in under the front of the fridge, flows over the coils to
the left of the fridge (between the fridge and the cabinet under the

How does the Norcold breathe?
Some of you may remember that I recently stuffed a lot of foam into
the passage behind the Norcold (while installing a CD changer).
The very next trip we had a markedly inefficient fridge. Even on

Re: Water Filters
hi Joan,
Getting rid of Giardia is a much different aspect of water filtering.
Sorry, I didn't realize you were looking to purify the water. You are
correct, Britas don't do that.

Re: 95 EVC High Altitude KIT ?
I think the answer to that depends on the condition of your Norcold.
Do you have problems lighting it now? If you do, it will just get
worse
at higher altitude.

Re: Weekenders w/poptop?
Tim,
The '93 EV MV w/ Weekender option (~$2000 option) gives you the poptop and a small capacity underseat cooler (in the middle seat behind the driver). The poptop, of course, also deletes rear

Re: 93 EVC - Pros & Cons?
I paid $22,000 Canadian about $16,000 US for a mint 1992 EVC with about
55,000 miles on it a year ago. I think that I got a good deal at that
price. They were on dealers lots at $25,000 Canadian

I've carried canoes and I've carried a Rocket Box on top and yes, you can
still pop the top. A caveat, though - my top is now skewed and I
occasionally have to really smack it to open it. Fortunately,

Frank,
The high altitude kit is definitely recommended if you'll be camping at high
altitudes. Our first trip out west was before we had the kit installed, and
the Norcold was difficult to light and

You may also want to check out bottle filters 30-50$(a water bottle with

We had the high-altitude kit installed at OWASCO quite some

Re: Freudian 93 EVC - Pros & Cons?
It's just that the older you get the better you can handle the pop top.
That must be why not too many 18-year-olds get EVs.
It's a theory.
