Tim,
Wow, that's weird, I replied to this post hours ago, but it hasn't shown up... oh, well. The '93 EV MV w/ Weekender option has the poptop and a small underseat cooler behind the driver. Since

Re: 93 EVC - Pros & Cons?
I think it's a saw toothed progression. At first new technologies are NOT
more reliable, then after a few years they are. Over time, newer is better,
but at any point in time you are often better

Re: Water Filters
I have used a number of Doulton filters in a solar/battery powered water
filtration system we use on extended river trips. Never had a problem
with giardia. Doulton also produces gravity filters as

I'll assume that because water takes up no more physical space then
coke and is just as well distributed in North America that you do not

Re: MV rearward facing seat.
You could also look for a center row bucket seat for an EVGL.
My 8 passenger EV92GL has a single bucket seat with integral lap belt
in the center(without armrests). (My two outboard seats

Re: Weekenders w/poptop?
Tim,
The pop top comes with the "Weekender" package (the postings capture
what else comes with the package) only available on the MV EV model.
If you don't get the weekender package, the MV still

How does the Norcold breathe?
Some of you may remember that I recently stuffed a lot of foam into
the passage behind the Norcold (while installing a CD changer).
The very next trip we had a markedly inefficient fridge. Even on

Re: Water Filters
hi Joan,
Getting rid of Giardia is a much different aspect of water filtering.
Sorry, I didn't realize you were looking to purify the water. You are
correct, Britas don't do that.

Re: 95 EVC High Altitude KIT ?
I think the answer to that depends on the condition of your Norcold.
Do you have problems lighting it now? If you do, it will just get
worse
at higher altitude.

Re: 93 EVC - Pros & Cons?
I paid $22,000 Canadian about $16,000 US for a mint 1992 EVC with about
55,000 miles on it a year ago. I think that I got a good deal at that
price. They were on dealers lots at $25,000 Canadian
