Hi Domokos, not sure if you resolved your door lock issue, but this is usually the spring inside the door latch mechanism. If the spring breaks, then the weight of the door lock knob is enough to push the knob down and then cause all the other locks to go down.
There is a video of how to make your own spring if you want to give it a try.?

Thanks Kent. That's what I always do. Maybe the engine battery needs to be changed or the alternator regulator brushes......I'll look further.

We have the Sony XAV-AX5000 & had a car stereo shop custom install it into the dash (along with a rear camera).? They did a great job dropping it in.??

I installed the Sony XAV-AX8000 a few months ago. ? - easy install - one can adjust the screen placement not to block the vents or controls - sticks out like a sore thumb. ?If I park at high theft trail heads, I unscrew the four(?) Phillips screws and remove the screen - hard to see the screen in bright sun - overall happy with it. ?If Sony comes out with a newer version with wireless Apple Car Play, I will upgrade. I had my 2002 weekender transmission & timing chains replaced by Michael?@ Valley Wagonworks in San Rafael (transmission from German Transaxle in Oregon).? I'm a year into the rebuilt transmission & timing chains (& new transmission cooler) & have had 0 issues.??
Given I live in Mt. View, I also bring my van for light maintenance (oil, air filter, transmission?fluids) to Euro Quattro.? Tony, the owner, has a Eurovan & his mechanic is familiar with their ins & outs.? They also have never overpriced me on any of the work & have?done some minor work for free (tightening lug nuts on tires).
However, I bring my major work to Michael?@ Valley Wagonworks, as he's the true Eurovan/Vanagon expert for anything engine & interior/poptop related.? I'd give him a call first to check his schedule.? He had to transport my transmission to Oregon & grab the rebuilt transmission?back to San Rafael.

I'm assuming you mean the 100, not the 1000.? Did you cut down the climate controls or just leave the unit uncovered?? I'm having a hard time making the install look factory.? Agree with the placement.? If I'm wearing polarized sunglasses I can't even see the screen during the day.? Unit works well for me for Android auto.? There actually is a way to add wireless Android auto now, but I don't think you can do it with apple car play

Also put in a switch to isolate it to the Aux battery so we could turn it on while camping. Good sound. Fit right in with minimal dash issues. Apple car play. I did lose the little sunglasses slot over the AC controls but no big deal. Bought a phone holder from ProclipUSA.com. They have a base that clips right into the EV dash and then got a holder to fit my phone. All in all, pretty reasonably priced setup. And it has an actual volume knob so you aren’t poking at a screen trying to turn it up or down. Small but important detail on these.
Couple of things
-it still has to be connected to your phone with usb cord for car play. I just bought a new car with wireless car play. So much better. I don’t know it that’s an option on these Sony units but if it is, definitely buy that.
-I find that where the unit sits, during the daytime I get a lot of glare off the passenger seat when I’m trying to see the screen. Makes seeing some of the navigation difficult.
Minor complaints. The unit sounds good, works good, and looks good too.? And fits. Don’t know if I can post a photo but happy to send.

Thanks Kent for your insight but I’ve been doing this for a long period of time ! My problem (if one) only occurs while Driving. Sure, my main battery will have to be changed at the end of the season. I’ve got it for 5 years now. I Wonder if it’s not the SG which is defect for the voltage reading. I’ll know it when I will have changed the battery and the old solenoid on the firewall too. Have a good day ! ? Yves ? Provenance?: pour Windows 10 ?

I don't know what's going on with your charging-battery system, but if your not driving
it very often, get a 'battery tender' for either the starting battery or house battery or both.
The battery tender will keep them in top shape, fully charged, even desulfate them.
There are all kinds available, just be sure the one you get is applicable to your batteries.

Alex, sure your explanations helped me !....but in my case, the coach battery is fine (it’s new and healthy). I would suspect the solenoid for sure ‘cause it’s hold enough and rusty too. Also, I would change my engine battery ‘cause it’s not keeping it’s charge long enough and it’s been there for 5 years now !! After that, I’ll check the voltage indicated on the SG to see if it’s higher. If not, I’ll have the alternator checked for worn brushes in the regulator, things that can happen on our ‘old’ vans !!!
