Hi Steve, ? Curiously, I was just watching a video on Youtube about how to change a bad injector from an EVC. Mine is a 1997 bought in 2012 and it began to throw a P0305 code since a couple of months. I already changed the coil pack (wihich was cracked) but it seems I could have a bad injector after looking at that video......It’s said that spark plug # 5 is often getting wet so that doesn’t help the injectors.....Have a look at this one and good luck !!! ? ? I'm pretty sure that VCDS just reads whatever is programmed into the module at the factory or repair shop.? As far as I know, there's no way to change it with VCDS though.? Hi all,
Well, the other day, I did a scan with VCDS-Lite on my '97EVC. I noticed in the (02) TRANSMISSION MODULE that the code number of my TCM was not indicated correctly. In fact, it was detected 01P927733AC instead of 01P927733AD as the TCM installed on my van. My question is: Should I correct this code by going in the 'BASIC SETTINGS' of the program and changed the code for the real one or is it better to live that alone ? I wonder if that couldn't be the cause of the problems I had with my transmission lately.....Is it important for the ECU to have the same information as the TCM installed on my EVC ?

Hi Alex, ? Ok, I think I found it !! It’s 098 for realigning the throttle body.... Btw, I have the Ross Tech-Lite software and cable and I’m just begining Learning that thing. I'm not really the group authority, but been here a while.
I think private selling is ok.? Probable consensus is that nobody wants people/bizs turning this board into a spammy ad group.
