Re: 28K update on my 99 EVC/brakes

Re: Head Gasket Leak
I put bars leaks in my van this spring when it began to leak fluid. Works great ever since. Filling the system is a challenge, as you can't just put it in the overflow reservoir. I unhooked the small

Coolant Leak
I pickup the van this afternoon. The shop "fixed" the ends of the tubing but mentioned that the rest of the plastic pipe could give trouble later. He complained at what a job it was to get to, but

Here in Canada we had the same problem, but only with the 1992 model year. My 92 does it, somehow it slipped past the warranty. Here in Canada, VW replaced these engines for any customer that

Re: EV piston problems
Look for the engine code; AAF = 8.5 CR, ACU = 10.0 CR You'll find the sticker in the paperwork or on the driverside kickpanel about level with the dash. You'll have to get on your back to see this

Re: Another propane tank mystery
The (well, *one* of the) question is, where did the butane come from? BTW, I still maintain my tank was filled with nitrogen, since it didn't burn at 70 degrees ambient. ;-) Does Winnebago fill the
