yes, it is the original cooler and the power cord attaches to an outlet on the black plastic cover under the drivers seat. this outlet is not working. as for the outlet under the table, the same plug

From just basic understanding of speedo cables, I'd undo the other end of the cable, hoping for more access/room. Undo it and see if you can rotate the inner wire in order to seat it. I've had this
