Hello, I'm new to this group and have just purchased a 2000 MV. I
love my new van, in fact it is the van I have been waiting 20 years
for someone to make. I had a '71 bus many years ago and loved it, but
my new Eurovan is far superior in many ways. I just had a sunroof put
in this week and was told that they would be able to install a 17x36
sunroof. What I got was a 16x32 sunroof. They claimed that the roof
braces did not allow for the 36" length of the larger sunroof. I find
this very difficult to believe, as there is a 5" clearance between
the frame of the 32" sunroof and the roof braces, as measured on the
roof. I simply can't believe that a 36" sunroof will not fit. Can
anyone on this board offer me information that can support that a
sunroof larger than 32" is possible? I am looking for some proof for
support, because I want to go back to this place and demand a larger
sunroof. I'm very disappointed in how the little sunroof they
installed looks in the large area over the cab. Also, does anyone
know the dimensions of the factory power sunroof? Thanks for any and
