Gary Clendening's Collectables

Gary and Belle have made it to Florida and asked me to forward this message
to the group. They are looking to add a trailer during this trip, so it
would appear that they are going to come back with a lot more than what they
had when they left. They didn't say what they would be collecting... maybe
Indian artifacts from the Southwest?

<<We should have a trailer attached to van by this month...I think
that is the most useful addition to the EVC we can buy. We've seen the
tents (where do you store them while you drive?) and canopies (a bit
expensive and most of our campsites we enter at 1900 every nite so the
sun is down). At least the trailer will allow us to carry the things we
wish to use, extending our range of experience. Our style of travel
allows that we tour in the day...either driving or walking. When the
adventure of the day is over we rush around in search of a
campsite...usually it's a private camp, unfortunately near an interstate,
too. The camping seems the least important activity of the day so far.
That's why I'm looking for a trailer. Looked at the Backpacker this
January...sadly it was just not nice enough for me. The top would not
fit well to the bottom. Several of us have the Backpacker but maybe I saw
one that was an early model? The Backpacker is no longer in production
now as we found out later. Looking at a more expensive, but similar one
called a "Tote"...found it on the net. The maker is in Indiana; we hope
to see it as we pass thru.>>
