I've been shopping for tires too. I checked out the Agilis tire at
the local Costco tire shop. They can get them (2-3 days max) and
quoted me $116.00 each including mounting and balancing.

We recently put a set of Michelin Agilis 51 tires on our '97EVC.
The local
Michelin dealer we went to simply called the warehouse in SC and
ordered
them. It only took 3 working days for them to arrive here in
Asheville, NC.
I think its all a matter of whether or not the dealers you've
talked to
really want your business, or just consider having to special
order
a single
set of tires too much of a nuisance to be bothered with.
