I don't know if Lawrence Clift (beetlefreak@...) is still a
listmember, but he told me he uses his 99 EVC to tow a 65 Beetle to auto
shows. He says it works great.

another Bill just HAS to respond...
Used my '93 EV MV to tow VW Things, and any Uhaul trailer that didn't need
brakes. The EV was a better tow vehicle than my S-10 with the 2.8l V-6.
Never tried to tow the heavier trailers with brakes though.
Still think my having a llama ride as an inside passenger is the oddest
inside payload. <g>
