storage by removing upper bed - MV WK / EVC

yegs

Bill, when I wrote about flipping the bed board for additional and more
accessible upper storage when parked I was referring to the Westy
version, weekender. That board is held in with dove tail clips. No
tools needed. The Winne's are different an am sure modifications could
be made.

Does removing the bed mean detaching the forward (folding portions)
of the
board by removing the hinge and leaving the rear (stationary) board
in place?
I am assuming that the area underneath the stationary board, if
easily
accessible, is not suitable for storing linens.

When you leave the upper bed in place as designed in transit, do you
feel
that the bed acts as a sound deadener and thermal insulator between
the roof
and the EVC interior?
