Re: Temp sensor - which one

B) F18 (Thermal Switch), three-wire threaded into the radiator and controls the radiator fans' low and medium speeds. (See Bentley Vol I, page C 19-3, item 8; also see Bentley Vol 2, page X-142.)

Stage 1:? bottom half low fan speed (88-89 on; 76-83 off) - hysteresis

Stage 2: top half medium fan speed (90-95 on; 82-89 off)

?

C) BLACK or BLUE G62 (Engine Coolant Temp Sensor), a two-wire sensor on the head fitting that signals the ECM (it's critical to helping the ECM set correct timing and mixture, but is not part of cooling system). (See Bentley Vol 1, page C 19-7; also see Bentley Vol 2, page X-215.)

?

D) BLUE G2/F95 (Engine Coolant Temp Sensor and After-Run Coolant Pump Thermal Switch), a four-wire sensor on the head fitting that controls two things: the temp gauge (one pair of wires) and the after-run pump (the other pair of wires). (See Bentley Vol 2, page X-222.)

?

E) GREEN F45 (A/C Thermal Switch), a four-wire sensor in hose below radiator that activates the radiator fans' high speed, and disables AC compressor clutch if coolant temp keeps rising. (See Bentley Vol 2, page X-146; also see Bentley Vol 2, page S 87-61, item 4.)
