Our 2000 did that a few years ago and we discovered it on a long trip. We went to several shops and one dealer while on the road. No one could figure it out. Finally when we got home, we took it to a local dealer who has folks who love Eurovans. They replaced the plastic bulb that holds the coolant. It worked! It had a very small opening between the two halves of the bulb and lost fluid gradually when the engine was very hot.?
