In our ¡®95 the same pipe exhaust manifold cracked due to the system down stream not being adequately supported. As well as having 275K mules on it.?
We ended up searching ¡°Samba¡± to find a used one that was in good shape and made sure the entire system was supported as designed.?

I visited a local exhaust shop and they quoted me $1500 to replace that section with generic flex pipes due to the complexity of the job (unbolting, tack weld, fit, remove, finish weld, re-fit). He suggested looking for NOS if possible.
Two primary questions:
1) What have you fine EV owners done in the past?
2) Beyond finding the flex pipe itself - what other supporting parts would you suggest? (bolts, nuts, hangars, etc)
