I had the same issue with my '97, or something close to it. I just took off the door panel and disconnected it. Side benefit: no chance of locking the keys in the car anymore since the driver's door only locks with the key from the outside. R.

Depends on the year.? Those that have the central locking module should have a 'master'.? The older ones don't, they all follow each other, with locked being the default.
