I've refurbed two Norcold fridges and literally replaced everything in them with success.? a fridge I did on my 97 camper 2 years ago, complete with brand new relighter board and interupter switch and thermocouple recently failed by the green light not coming on and the "ticking" from the lighter element continuing on when switching to gas and holding the safely button.? I looked into it and noticed that the flame lights and stays lit, as it should, but that the green light doesn't come on (tested good LED) and the "ticking" continues.? ?as the flame stays lit I figured the thermocouple must be good. the light is good.? I replaced the interrupter switch with a known good one and same problem.? then I disconnected each of the white wires from the interrupter to the? relighter and as soon as I disconnected the flame died.? All I can think of is that the relighter board is bad.? I've searched all of the known sites for info on this type of failure and found none.? If anyone has insight I would appreciate it.? otherwise I'll spring for another relighter board and hope that does it.
