As it?turns out I actually just got it out. Hammering in the 12 sided Allen using an air racket which wasn¡¯t enough. Then slowly just using a breaker bar and a few Hail Marys.?
Now to find a piece of wood to hold up that upper arm!!! VW Tool 3250 ?
Thanks for the suggestions and support.?
I wasn¡¯t 100% on using 5 bolts just worst case thinking.?

Why would you run just five bolts? You can get new bolts, and there should be a new set in your boot kit or with the new axle.
If you do cut the head off, and get the axle out, you should be able to get the remaining bolt out with vice grips. It may thread out by hand once the tension is relieved.
Thanks for the suggerstion. Some I have already used (hammering in the 12 sided socket after cleaning, etc).
I will try the impact next, and not sure why I didn¡¯t aside from breaking it.?
And before I resort the last act of desperation (cutting the head off and using just 5 new bolts instead of 6, sort off like driving with 4 lug nuts after twisting one off if you think about it?)
?I am going to use a very thing metal cutting wheel and cut the washer that is under the head. My thought is since the bolt hole in the CV joint is unthreaded and the washer is removed the load or tension on the bolt from torquing is relieved.? Maybe over engineering that aspect ?a bolted connection.?
Again thanks to the collection of suggestions.?

Several suggestions in order of desperation:
1.) Hammer the 12 point driver into the bolt before trying to turn it. The hammering may also loosen the threads.
2.) Use a vice grips to apply more torque to the bolt.
3.) Weld a larger nut to the end of the bolt, and turn that.
4.) Cut off the head of the bolt with an angle grinder.
Well that one last bolt on the axle to transmission flange is stuck. The hole for the 12 point drive must have been damaged. When I hold it in right and try to turn it out the drive wants to push out the bolt.
Any suggestions? I¡¯ve cleaned the bolt head with a dental pick and lubed the bolt joint as best I could.?
Thanks for the lead on the axle.?

has some at a good price if your doing it yourself. cheers.
Giving a once over before heading off on vacation found the inner left hand CV boot town about half way round. Still had geese but could see the joint clearly.?
Have the axle assembly about removed from the van one flange bolt to go (fingers crossed and fresh 12 sided socket).
Who is a good source for these axle assemblies?
?Ones to avoid or recommend?
Lastly anyone have a source for the 14MM x 170mm long lower bolt for the shock and sway bar? Mine sadly needs the threads cleaned with a die and if that does not work looking for a source.
Thanks and hope everyone is enjoying there weekend not removing parts!!!?
